Are you part of a fraternity, sorority, academic club, honors society or another campus-related organization? KEI's Global Affiliation Program allows campus-related organizations (with approval from the university international education office) to earn rewards towards study abroad grants, club activities and philanthropic initiatives. Organization members also benefit from group discounts and first-choice housing, course selection and internships. Check with your KEI advisor if your organization is a member of the KEI Global Affiliate Program to take advantage of all the benefits and rewards.

Not a KEI Global Affiliate? Take the initiative and apply for Affiliate status on behalf of your organization. If your organization is accepted, you will personally earn a referral reward of $500 US that can be applied towards your KEI program fee or another academically-related expense (i.e. textbooks, computer, etc.). The referral reward will be disbursed after your organization is admitted to the KEI Global Affiliate Network and 6 members from the organization attend KEI programs. There is no limit to the number of organizations you can submit for membership in the KEI Global Affiliate Network as long you are a member of the organization and the organization meets eligibility requirements.

KEI Global Affiliate Benefits

KEI's Global Affiliate organizations and members benefit in a variety of ways:
  • Global Studies Fund
KEI will establish a Global Studies Fund for your organization and contribute $1,000 US to the Fund for every 6 organizational members that attend a KEI semester, summer or academic year program. The Fund can be used for:
    1. study abroad scholarships to support members attending KEI programs
    2. campus activities in support of your organizational mission and goals
    3. philanthropic initiatives approved by KEI (tsunami relief, fighting hunger in Ethiopia, etc.)

  • Group Discount
KEI will award an automatic group discount of $100 per person if 3 or more members of your organization attend the same KEI program. This discount is independent of KEI's contributions to the Global Studies Fund.

  • Member Benefits
Each member of the organization attending a KEI program will have first choice of housing, course selection and internship placement. Students must meet all program deadlines and requirements to receive these benefits.
