KEI and LSBU organize cultural activities and excursions in and outside of London. Transportation and group activities are included. Students must budget for meals and personal expenses.

Typical excursions include:

  • Bath, Stonehenge or Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Cambridge or Oxford (semester only)

KEI reserves the right to change planned excursions for destinations of equal value and interest. Excursions may change based on availability, local festivals and interest. Academic year and multiple term students participate on planned excursions during one of their terms.

LONDON
London is home to countless historical and modern attractions. Your introduction to London will start with the program orientation. Additional activities in London are planned during the program. KEI's favorite places to visit in London:

CAMBRIDGE & OXFORD
Both Cambridge and Oxford are home to two of the world's greatest universities. However, each city has a unique history and flavor.

Cambridge is a compact city with outstanding architecture old and new. The beauty of its ancient center is preserved with walkable medieval streets, college courts, gardens and bridges. The official city website can be found at www.visitcambridge.org.

Oxford, City of Dreaming Spires, has been home to royalty and scholars for more than 800 years. Today, the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town with a growing hi-tech community. BATH
Bath has attracted visitors for centuries with its hot springs, Roman Baths, splendid Abbey and Georgian stone crescents. Set in the rolling Somerset countryside, just over 100 miles west of London, Bath is a beautiful and unforgettable place to visit. STONEHENGE
Stonehenge, a collection of stones dating back 5,000 years, has been puzzling archaeologists and scientists for centuries. Set in the green Wiltshire landscape and dotted with prehistoric mounds and carvings, Stonehenge continues to enthrall the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Shakespeare, Shakespeare and more Shakespeare. Shakespeare could not have chosen a nicer place to have lived, worked and died in. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a delightful town that has been able to maintain its old-world English charm despite the thousands of tourists each year.
