-Swiss Business, Law & Diplomacy Program -Swiss Tourism & Hospitality Management Program Schiller International University was founded in 1964 with campuses in the United States, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. Schiller integrates an international perspective into an American educational model. Student have the opportunity to at different campuses during the course of their degree program. English is the language of instruction all all Schiller campuses. The students body also represents more than 50 countries. Students realize very quickly that there are many advantages of working in a global context, of becoming part of a diverse community and of preparing themselves for leadership roles in the future. A low student/faculty ratio and a small average class size facilitate personal contact both inside and outside the classroom. KEI programs include academic credit, internship placement, housing, medical/travel insurance, on-site coordinator, orientation, airport welcome and transfer, mobile phone, access to Internet, and cultural activities and excursions throughout Brussels/Antwerp. 308 According to a 2002 American Council on Education poll, 79 percent of people in the United States agree that students should have a study abroad experience sometime during college, but only 1 percent of students from the United States currently study abroad each year; (1) designates 2006 as the `Year of Study Abroad'; (2) encourages secondary schools, institutions of higher learning, businesses, and government programs to promote and expand study abroad opportunities; and (3) encourages the people of the United States to-- (A) support initiatives to promote and expand study abroad opportunities; and (B) observe the `Year of Study Abroad' with appropriate ceremonies, programs, and other activities.
